- Phlebotomists work directly with patients to collect blood samples in clinical settings and prepare those samples for laboratory testing.
- Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) work primarily behind the scenes by preparing samples, operating analyzers and manually conducting tests on bodily fluids.
- Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) performs complex diagnostics tests on patient samples by using advanced laboratory equipment to analyze samples and interpret the results to provide data to providers.
